About Bobbie Schmitt
She began her real estate career in 1972 in Orlando and earned the GRI, CRS, CRB, ABR, SRS and CLHMS designations. Subsequently opened ERA-Preferred Properties Inc in 1989 while simultaneously being the President of the Orlando Area Board of Realtors, Director of the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She was honored as REALTOR OF THE YEAR twice. Bobbie has given back to her profession through many public speaking engagements across the country and Europe, her publications in college textbooks, the Orlando Sentinel, Real Estate Today and REALTOR magazines. Her articles, speaking and training engagements have featured Sales/Marketing/Advertising Strategy, Recruiting and Staff Retention, Management, Mentoring, Creative Business Development and Strategic Planning. Bobbie has successfully completed both mergers and acquisitions of real estate companies and has consulted with Real Estate Company owners and brokers throughout the US and Europe. Bobbie was a nationally televised spokesperson for ERA real estate in the 1980\'s and was the keynote speaker for the Grand Opening of ERA of France in 1993. Bobbie specializes in high end properties in the Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, John\'s Creek, Alpharetta, Duluth, Milton, Berkeley Lake and nearby areas. Bobbie\'s second career has centered around Interior Design. She owns and operates a successful interior design company specializing in both residential and commercial interiors and has been published for her work in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.Bobbie has decorated all of the models needed to sell condominium projects in Florida and Georgia. She also specializes in common areas including lobby areas, elevators, billiards rooms, business centers, conference centers, board rooms and office space.
