   The Director, Patient Access & Affordability Solutions plays a key role in the development of our patient access strategies across the AbbVie product portfolio for current and future pipeline products. This person will be responsible for directing program enhancements, building strong relationships with internal business partners, collaborating to deliver results, partnering with Care Model Strategy, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and additional stakeholders. Primary responsibilities for this leadership position will include, but are not limited to: • Lead the continued evolution of access and affordability strategies based upon changes within the market landscape that impact the patients’ we support. • Work with the leadership team to establish Patient Access & Affordability as a strategic center of excellence within the US Area • Drive an exception patient experience through the development of innovative and impactful initiatives that align to the Patient Services strategic imperatives • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure programs are compliant and evolve as needed based on new laws / regulations • Collaborate within the patient support organization to successfully pull through access and affordability programs • Partner with Finance to lead and execute AbbVie financial planning cycles such as LBE/LRP/Annual Plan • Partner with MABI on analytics initiatives, to ensure consistent program performance measurement and insights across the enterprise portfolio • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with commercial business partners in market access, sales, managed healthcare, trade, and marketing teams • Ensure a high level of cross-functional coordination and strategic/tactical planning through ongoing communications as well as contributing to a positive team culture • Build a high performing team, creating business plans and setting priorities to achieve business goals
