I am a junior at Marist University, majoring in Communications and concentrating in Journalism. I have an immense passion for meaningful storytelling and creating content that connects to various groups of people. My strong background blends with my strong research and writing skills, effective problem-solving, and my growing curiosity for how media impacts the world. I’ve explored roles in social media, researching and reporting, and content development, which are all partnered with my confidence to tackle new challenges. Whether it’s through writing athlete profiles in the classroom or building digital media content ideas, I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can learn from hands-on experience. Recently, I had the great opportunity to work as an Extern for the Coaction Specialty Insurance group. In this role, I developed a great understanding about the inner workings of not only the Coaction culture but also the insurance industry. Throughout multiple interactive sessions with professionals of differing departments, I gained valuable insight into how to engage with case studies and team projects in a collaborative, yet fast-paced environment.I am incredibly eager to grow my skills in real-world opportunities.
