PEI, supports and manages Clay International Secondary School in Ngomano, Kenya. This free top ranked co-ed High School educates 60 girls and 60 boys high school age students each year in 4 classes. A co-operative project where parent spend 6-10 hours a month working on campus, CISS is located 100 miles from Nairobi in a semi-arid isolated community in Makeuni county. Started 9 years ago this school has attained national prominence through outstanding academic performance and the placement of over 65% of it\'s graduates in University or Middle College. With a graduation rate which hover around 98% CISS operates on a budget of per student per year.
