Teaching undergraduate courses focused on the development of comprehensive career plans for management and accounting majors, corporate finance and a seminar exploring the interdisciplinary nature of business. This seminar will support students in mapping out their future study plans while also broadening insights on the dependencies across business functions. The finance course objectives are focused on corporate valuations, finance statements, investment decision making and overall capital budgeting. The career course objectives include setting short and long-term goals based on our students\' passions, personalities, experiences, and life priorities; developing the students’ networks, interview skills and providing the needed coaching to land an internship and ultimately their first full-time opportunity. My role at URI has included career advising not only in the classroom but also through one-on-one office hours and participation on various career panels. I\'ve also enjoyed being a keynote speaker for a Diversity and Inclusion forum as part of the College of Business.
