Working for an established Pet food/accessories retail business with 19 physical sites and Web sales, I report directly to the Managing Director and head up the team that control stock. Utilising a number of different systems and software programs, I use data analysis to develop and agree plans/ranges in partnership with Buyers to achieve sales/profit targets. This includes implementing agreed departmental strategies, preparing and forecasting budgets and stock levels for the entire estate to hit and exceed stock, sales and profit targets. Working with Buyers to create critical paths for development/delivery of product ranges and promotions, monitoring performance against plan via sales/stock analysis, taking action to maximise sales/profit whilst reduce stockholding and increasing stock turn. Developing planograms/Store Ranging based on analysing sales data and forecasting to budgets. Manage the intake of Domestic and Imported stock (from over 40 different suppliers, including known/established brands as well as wholesalers) in line with agreed stock levels/budgets, utilising \'Open To Buy\' with phased commitments to increase flexibility - this includes working within a WSSI.
