About Bob Richardson
I am responsible for bottom line performance as well as budgeting, new business development, training, digital initiatives and daily sales management of 3 print products. My group of sales professionals both legacy print and digital sell upward of 60 successful niche products annually while hitting goal on 75% of those said projects. Examples of the products are Moses Lake Magazine, Grant County Magazine, The Progress Edition, The Strength Edition, Grant County Fair Program and numerous quarterly products. We have recently added a digital department to our group, we are able to sell and produce websites, digital marketing/SEO and web maintenance to our clients. We produce 3 trade shows annually. Each event grows as we expand and add new vendors. The shows that I present are The Columbia Basin Bridal Expo, The Central Washington Home and Garden Expo and the Central Washington Health and Wellness Expo. With the success of each event our attendance has increased an average of 15% yearly. I have launched aggressive growth plans that helped increase our customer base an average of 7% year over year. In a changing marketing climate I have been able to increase our web based marketing dollars an average of 25% year over year in the time I have been with the Columbia Basin Herald. What I am most proud of is my ability to present award winning ideas to the Hagadone Corporation group of publishers and Ad Directors. We present sales ideas in a monthly corporate meeting with cash prizes for best practices and sales ideas. In the time that I have been with the company I have won 38% of those contests.
