About Bob Rackleff

After a successful career as a political and corporate speechwriter - 22 years as an enlisted sailor and U.S. Navy officer - Leon County (FL) Commissioner 19••••10 - and candidate for U.S. Congress (FL CD-2) in 2018, I continued my commitment to public service and political activism. I helped organize the Big Bend Voting Rights Project to register ex-felons to vote in Florida, a right restored by constitutional amendment adopted in 2018. In 2019 and 2020, we obtained 1,195 registrations in North Florida and South Georgia (the latter for the 2021 Senate run-off election).

   Esther and I live full time in Paris as active retirees - exploring the city and traveling frequently to other European cities. While here, I sing in my synagogue\'s choir and Esther is active in her church. We\'re members of Democrats Abroad and the American Library of Paris. One of my projects is to visit all major churches in the city to see their endless varieties of stained glass, stone sculptures and architectural details. We frequently host friends from the U.S. in our Montparnasse apartment.
