Much of my consulting time is currently spent on various levels of Peer Review and/or Mentoring. These short assignments vary from technical due diligence for M&A or financings and Project Stage Gate Reviews on subsurface FDP through to more specific reviews of D&C or Production Enhancement Plans for non-conventional or marginal assets, including CSG, Deep Tight and Shale Gas, Heavy Oil and Oil Sands, Deepwater and EOR projects. The role the Peer Reviewer and/or Trusted Advisor is fundamentally different from that of the Resources or Well Design Auditor or Operations Advisor and aiming to help identify Risks and Opportunities to create additional value.Much of my training activity relates Unconventional Onshore and Deepwater E&P activities and/or Production Optimization, as well as facilitation of workshops on Integrated E&A and Development Planning for Cross Disciplinary Training on behalf IHRDC.Much of my time is now committed to volunteer work for the SPE Caldary Section and as the Technical Director for Production and Facilities on the SPE International Board.Key Words: Due diligence; Peer Reviews; FDP; CSG; Tight Gas; Shale Gas; Heavy Oil; Risk Analysis; Opportunity Identification; Deepwater; Mentoring; Technical Training.
