Founder and leader for a statewide college access network with the vision of removing higher education barriers, promoting college persistence, and increasing postsecondary completion rates for all Tennesseans. Established as a 501c3 in 2012, the Network’s mission is to foster a statewide college going culture committed to college access, retention, and success. Launched with funds provided by the Lumina Foundation and Tennessee’s Race to the Top award, the Network provided grant funding to 41 schools, non-profit organizations, and higher education institutions serving more than students and families. In addition to providing numerous professional development opportunities, the Network is a strong advocate on policy issues addressing access and affordability for underrepresented student populations.
