Care Management Coaching is my own business, through which I am able to engage with care facilities and providers across the country and provide managerial support and consultancy in homes and organisations in Leicester, Sussex, Durham, East Sussex, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Northumberland, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire. This includes working as Interim General Manager of a large, 72-bed nursing home in the Epping Forest area and Home Care provision in Hampshire.My broad approach to the service typically involves managing issues identified by CQC and organisational safeguarding, acting as an interim mentor/coach for a permanent manager. I support nursing, residential and homecare organisations to improve their systems of reporting, grading and quality care.I was also able to complete an MSc in Dementia Studies at Stirling University while in this role and have gone on to develop my own training course based on person-centred care for people living with dementia. Training is, of course, the cornerstone of good practice and improvement, and I work to train, upskill and guide managers, staff and others on a wide range of crucial topics, as well as ensuring compliance. I have currently embarked on an ILM Level 7 Coaching course to support me in coaching managers of care related establishments. I have completed NLP Master Practitioners and Hypnotherapy course with Ali Campbell to enhance my performance and add value when coaching.
