About Bob Lyle

Bob has played key leadership roles in three successful acquisitions and one IPO, and brings nearly 30 years of experience across enterprise cybersecurity and multimedia IP licensing, spanning both software and hardware. He currently manages RunSafe’s sales execution, go-to-market strategy, customer expansion, and strategic partnerships. Bob also serves as Chair of the Device Security Group (DSG) of the GSMA. Bob joins RunSafe from Medcrypt, where he was Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Previously, he served as CRO of MergeBase, which was acquired by Finite State, and Cybeats, where he helped grow the business from its first customers through its IPO on the CSE (CYBT). Earlier in his career, while based in Korea, Bob launched the Samsung Exynos Mobile Application Processor business, and later co-founded Valona Labs, an enterprise cybersecurity software startup. As CEO, he guided Valona Labs to a successful exit in under two years, culminating in its acquisition by HMD Global (Nokia Mobile) and the creation of the HMD Global Software Center of Excellence in Tampere, Finland.With deep experience as a GM and senior executive in both startups and global enterprises, Bob has a strong track record of scaling B2B and B2B2C software businesses, building high-performing teams, and driving significant new revenue streams and strategic exits.

Bob was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Freebit from May 2014 - May 2016.
