ABOUT BOB KIRBY
Following extended experience in the private sector, including purchasing, scheduling and as a general manager of print shops, I moved into public education with the hope of connecting students to skills and subject area knowledge that would benefit them for a lifetime. My career in education has been fulfilling. I have taught History, Geography and English Language Arts, including AP Literature. I am currently the district Program Specialist for Advanced Learners overseeing district Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, AVID, World Language and the Superintendent’s Summer Graduation programs. Recognitions include high school site Staff Member of the Year, the District Award for Excellence and Regional Finalist for the California League of High Schools Teacher of the Year.
