Areas of expertise include compliance, pollution prevention, water conservation & reuse- 24 years in EHS field with demonstrated expertise in CWA, NPDES, EPA MSGP, SPCC, TMDL, CAA, Title V, ODS, ISO14001, CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, PSM, RMP, OSHA1910, & VPP· Managed 10 MGD industrial WWTP (activated sludge) with responsible charge of 17 operators, mechanics & lab techs. Operating budget of $4M/yr· Lead development of multi-faceted water/wastewater assessment program designed to prevent permit exceedances, unauthorized discharges & spills/releases. Water conservation is also key part of scope- Provided oversight for program implementation at 50+ mfg facilities in U.S, Canada, Mexico, South America and Europe- Obtained EPA grant for assisting industrial facilities in \'stressed\' sewer districts. Projects yielded over 150MGY in water savings & $1M/yr in cost savings · Designed batch discharge & monitoring system which provides industrial clients ability to confirm compliance with permit limitations PRIOR to discharge of process wastewater· Developed & coordinated wastewater/storm water management system review, plus environmental sampling training for 100+ manufacturing & warehousing facilities across the globe· Coordinated review & enhancement of SPCC & plans across 80+ facilities· Successfully re-negotiated numerous wastewater & storm water permit limits & conditions to provide facilities with higher margin of compliance & operational flexibility· Lead / participated in over 75 multi-media environmental & safety compliance audits· Established robust refrigerant management system for ensuring compliance with 40CFR82· Provided environmental leadership & technical support during initial ISO14001 certification for a large plastics plant· Lead Title V (air) program development for large, integrated pulp & paper mill
