About Bob Johnson
Bob Johnson joined NXP with the responsibility of Corporate Account Management. Prior to this assignment he was responsible for MEMS Business Development, Director of Channel Sales, and Director of Marketing for the Americas’ in GSM where he led the creation of NXP\'s Product Longevity Program and among other key developments. He has a long history with Semiconductors dating back to the mid 1980’s. Previous to rejoining Motorola/Freescale in 2003, Bob was with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) managing distribution sales. Before that, he held management positions at Motorola and ON in Technical Field Sales, Channel Sales, Supply Chain, Market Development, Product Line Management and Application Engineering Management. Bob has more than 30 years of semiconductor experience focused on wireless, NFC, memory, microcontroller, microprocessor, analog, logic, discrete, optoelectronics and MEMS technologies. He understands the power of IP and portfolio and is a US patent holder entitled: Liquid Level Sensing Device And Method, using NXP\'s touch sensing technology.
