In 1981 Dr. Huizenga began building a successful private practice as a a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Michigan. It became apparent to him over the years that a huge number of couples had extreme difficulty discussing and coping with an elephant in their marriage - infidelity. As well, the professional community offered little help and often provided guidance born out of training based on individual theories rather than systemic understanding. In the late 90’s he was one of the first therapeutic professionals to grasp the power of the internet to reach a world wide audience with his wisdom. In 2001 he published the first E-book on infidelity, “Break Free From the Affair.” The E-book was an instant success, sold thousands of copies and helped an untold number of couples and individuals. Break Free Enterprise was officially incorporated in 2003, dedicated to providing quality digital info products and coaching expertise to a global audience. Dr. Huizenga and Break Free Enterprise has produced dozens of E-books and reports, has written numerous blog posts and has collaborated with affiliates and joint venture partners to offer quality relational information.
