ABOUT BOB HOLLIDAY.

Worldwide experience of workshop fabrication, site construction and commissioning of power plant equipment. Working for world leading companies such as Alstom, Babcock and GE. Early career spent training in pipework, ductwork, welding and boilers followed by some time in the oil industry including several stints offshore. Later becoming pressure vessel engineer then works manager with Sumner Brown Fabrications Engineers. Mid career, through continuing education and work experience progressed to project engineer, site manager with Fairport Engineering, British Gas National Grid and Senior Green Engineering. Progressed to management when Babcock acquired TEI. The thermal engineering division of Senior Engineering. Worked internationally with them for 10 years. A typical project would consist of fabricating feed water heaters, condensers and associated systems in China and Korea then installing them in Pakistan. A year and a half in construction management of combined cycle plant in Canadian Oil Sands. Nine years with Alstom Power, Environmental Division. Managing supplier fabrication and QA of flue gas equipment throughout Asia. Construction an AGI in Ireland with hot tap into HP line for Irish Gas. TFA - Balance of Plant on two CCGT plants in Pakistan for GE. Currently construction of FGT for LAB SA, Javelin Project, Gloucester UK.
