Our two purposes are: 1) to offer schools and students the ability to “browse and shop\" for creative solutions and comprehensive offerings, and 2) to collaborate with districts, online curriculum providers, organizations, businesses, and individuals to expand educational offerings that contribute additional learning opportunities to secondary students. These alternatives may be in the form of: • Core subjects and content beyond traditional offerings • Public/Private Partnerships with school districts by offering curricula and instruction • Types of learning- traditional, student-initiated, self-directed, experiential, constructivist, work-study, apprenticeships, mentoring • Methods of delivery- direct instruction, online, independent studies, blended, experience • Offering an internationally recognized cognitive program for elementary students to senior citizens • Places of learning- anywhere • \"Plug & Play\" solutions Market Square Education offers academic “produce,\" customized academic “commodity,” and services that meet “educational customer’s” needs. Building our network of resources allows schools and students to “walk through our open market square” that offers choice in learning and program development. Students benefit from options that result in increased motivation, improved performance, and a strengthened commitment to school.
