About Bob Estrin
Robert EstrinBob Estrin, a founding member of the International Live Events Association (Formerly ISES), has over forty years of experience in Special Events. With a background in technical theater, his expertise includes: event management, lighting, audio, audio video (AV), staging and effects for events. His experience includes major sporting events, national festivals, political campaigns, as well as corporate, high end social and community events. He has a consulted on “Live Event Safety.He has served on the ISES International Board of Governors and as an International and Chapter Officer. His seminar presentations include: The Special Event, Event Solutions, ISES CPD, GWU, Irvine College, Temple University, Cal Poly Pomona and six ISES chapters. He has partnered with several production companies which has resulted in winning several ESPRIT awards, a LAla award and several Gala awards. He has a GALA for Lighting Design, a TEC nomination as live Audio Mixer of the Year and was awarded the EVENT SOLUTIONS Professional of the Year.He is a past National Board Member of the SEARCH Foundation.He is known as a willing mentor in the Southern California Event community. His passion has been the need for safety awareness in events. Currently he is involved in bringing sustainable and “green” concepts to the event community in a practical and cost effective wayBob is a 2009 inductee into the Special Events Hall of Fame presented by Event Solutions.Specialties: Temporary event Infrastructure design, Event Risk Management evaluation and Abatement, Sustainable Event Technical Production, On Site Event management, Live Event Safety Management.
