Leads IATA\'s Facilitation Section efforts to provide leadership, expertise and support to the airline industry in respect of controls applied to the movement of persons and goods over international borders. Works cooperatively with governmental agencies andinter-governmental organisations to identify effective methods to achieve common objectives. Coordinates with IATA\'s Government and Industry Affairs, Passenger Services, Information Management and Legal departments to ensure appropriate and timely examination of and response to emerging legislative and regulatory initiatives. Provides expertise in development of industry-based solutions to government-imposed requirements related to advance information exchange.
