ABOUT BOB COOK

With over 40 years of experience in the transportation industry, I am a seasoned leader and a transloading expert who is passionate about providing innovative and efficient logistics solutions for my clients. As the President IBO at MODE Transportation, I oversee the sales and operations of a 3PL transportation company that offers a wide range of services, including intermodal, trucking, railcar, LTL, international port drayage, warehousing, and special projects. I am driven by the mission of delivering exceptional customer service, quality, and value, and I strive to foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and excellence within my team and organization.Before joining MODE Transportation in 2019, I was the President and VP NW Region at Innovative Logistics, an agent for Cornerstone Systems, for 19.5 years. In this role, I was responsible for managing and growing a multimillion-dollar portfolio of accounts across Canada, the United States, and Mexico, as well as developing and implementing strategic plans, budgets, and processes to optimize the performance and profitability of the agency. I also leveraged my skills in ocean, warehouse management, and transloading to create and execute customized solutions for complex and challenging logistics projects, such as moving over-dimensional freight, handling hazardous materials, and coordinating with multiple carriers and partners. Some of my notable achievements include securing and servicing a large contract with a major retailer, increasing the agency\'s revenue and market share by 25%, and winning several awards for outstanding service and safety.
