Bob Connell General Manager & CEO, Freedom Broadcasting Inc. Bob Connell is the General Manager and CEO of Freedom Broadcasting, Inc, the parent company of several leading radio stations in Arkansas, including Cool 104.7 KFLI, 99.1 KRZS, KEAZ 100.7, KWCK 99.9, The Bull 105.7, and Timeless 106.1 KFFB. With over four decades of experience in broadcast management and consultancy, Bob has become a prominent figure in the Arkansas media landscape. A dedicated community leader, Bob has served in various roles that demonstrate his passion for both broadcasting and local development. He is a past president of the Arkansas Broadcasters Association, having led the organization for two separate terms. He currently serves as a commissioner for the Arkansas State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission. His contributions to the tourism and broadcasting industries have earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious Henry Award from the Arkansas Governor\'s Conference on Tourism. Bob is also widely recognized for his active involvement in regional chambers of commerce and his advocacy for tourism promotion throughout North Central Arkansas. Known affectionately as \"The King of Live Remote Broadcasts,\" Bob has built a reputation for his extensive and engaging on-location broadcasts, bringing local events and community stories to life on the airwaves. Outside of his professional achievements, Bob is a proud husband to Pamela and a devoted father to three children—Heather (married to Joshua), Shaun, and Seth. He is also a proud grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Evie and Ella. Bob\'s family is at the heart of everything he does, and his legacy in both his personal and professional life is one of service, leadership, and community engagement.
