ABOUT BOB CHILDE
I have over 30-years of management experience within RIS/PACS and Radiology markets and extensive knowledge of the NHS sales process, including contract, tender and bid management. I represent and oversee the commercial lead for Soliton IT throughout our UK network of customers, prospects, Partners and contacts. Since 2019, I am also proud to have been appointed as Chair for the RIS/PACS Special Focus Group (SFG) for AXREM. The SFG supports and represents members of the healthcare IT supplier industry who provide diagnostic medical imaging IT into UK hospitals. The SFG members have unique knowledge, experience and insight into the workflow and challenges faced by healthcare professionals on a day-to-day basis, which enables them to develop and offer innovative solutions to improve the speed and quality of diagnostic procedures and treatments with the aim of improving patient care.Late 2025, I have been appointed vice chairman of AXREM which will lead to chairman in 2027.
