HECO was founded in 1959 as Hatfield Electric Company. When every other repair facility was going in and simply asking for work from customers, Hatfield Electric knew that it was important to be different. Hatfield Electric sold on the opportunity to fix the most problematic electric motor that industrial facilities have. They dug into the problem deeper and fixed the root cause.That is the sample principal that HECO lives by today in custom systems that optimize the performance of electric motor driven powertrains. Our electric motor/generator repair capabilities along with our new/surplus motor offerings through makes HECO an industry leader. Couple those strengths with our Predictive service team of ISO/ANSI Certified vibration analysts (Category II though IV) as well as certified tribologists (Oil wear analysis), Ultrasound technicians, and certified infrared thermographers makes HECO a total solution provider to maximize the reliability of your rotating equipment.My tenor at HECO spans 39 plus years. Starting in our repair shop, working in both inside and outside sales, managing our outlying warehouses and now settling into the Business Development/Equipment Management roles. My focus has tended to sway me towards larger motors, writing specifications, following the manufacturing process all the way through to site installation of motors in excess of 13,800 volts. Our corporate philosophy of providing solutions, educating our partners and bringing long term reliability is not just a tag line. It is something that we are proud of and live daily.
