Productiv connects small companies to big companies. Productiv industrialises low carbon technologies, enabling technology owners to credibly enter the automotive supply chain. In turn, it enables vehicle manufacturers to access low carbon technologies from outside their existing supply chain. Productiv supports technology SMEs, from engineering prototype through to low volume production, enabling them to concentrate on their core skills of development engineering. This prevents them having to sell out too early or change their businesses to cope with the rigours of volume manufacturing.Productiv has been spun out of Unipart after 18 months of development. It is delivering the Low Carbon Tier 1 project that has received the support and endorsement of numerous automotive industry companies and other bodies including the Automotive Council, the SMMT, LowCVP and the TSB.I am very proud to be involved in a business that aims to make Britain the world leader in bringing low carbon technologies to market.
