About Boardsforbrosgulf Ed Womble
Founded by three life long skateboarders with 100 years of skateboarding experience between us - Paul Schmitt, SkatePark of Tampa and myself. Currently Brian Schaefer and Michael Blanford now carry the banner at the original B4B HQ in Tampa, FL. We lose money every year to put smiles on faces. 501(3)(c) Boards for Bro’s mission is to facilitate the collection of skateboarding equipment, refurbish it, and then distribute it back into the community for children who cannot afford their own. By helping the skateboard community give skateboards to those that might not have had the opportunity to ride one otherwise, Boards for Bro’s hopes that skateboarding can help children learn additional discipline, respect, and perseverance that will assist them throughout their entire lives.
