About Bo Wandell
I have spent 30 years building and scaling tech companies in the US market. I was part of the management team at Legato when it went public, at iCat when it was acquired by Intel, and at Spry when it was acquired by CompuServe. I have founded two tech companies, served as CMO or CRO to six others, and helped raise over $60M in venture capital along the way. That track record is the reason founders and PE firms bring me in when US market traction is the problem. The most common mistake I see is a company with a real product and a genuine US market opportunity hiring a single GTM leader and expecting them to work their network until something sticks. That is not a GTM engine. That is guessing with capital and time — a startup\'s two most precious assets. Research from Gartner and Forrester shows that B2B decision makers complete 60 to 70 percent of their buying evaluation before they ever speak to a vendor. The companies that win in the US market understand one thing their competition does not: you are not trying to get a meeting with the decision makers. You are trying to become the vendor the decision makers want to meet. US GTM Engine is built around that principle. Our 120-day sprint runs four motions in parallel. We start with ICP validation and targeted outreach drawn from our database of 30 million US businesses, conducted by real human beings — not automated sequences. At the same time we create and distribute content across social media that builds trust and credibility with B2B decision makers during the self-directed research phase, so that when your buyers are evaluating options, you are already shaping the conversation. Every motion feeds a documented pipeline that we build and manage with one objective: your first US deals. Fixed cost throughout. No wasted runway. I work with domestic and international tech startups and PE firms with portfolio companies that need US market traction quickly and with clear accountability to outcomes. If either describes your situation, the next step is a 30-minute call. You will leave with a clear view of what is holding your US GTM back and what a 120-day sprint would look like for your specific business. Experience
Co-founder
Sep 2025 — Present · Seattle, WA, US
The US GTM Engine compresses US market validation and GTM execution into a disciplined 120 day sprint — giving international and early-stage tech companies a faster, lower-risk alternative to hiring an US sales and marketing team before they\'ve validated their messaging framework, ICP, and product-market fit.As Co-Founder, I lead sales and client delivery for the firm. On the revenue side, that means owning the full sales cycle — from sourcing and outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close — across our three primary market segments: international tech companies entering the US market, US seed-to-Series B companies without a functioning GTM engine, and PE-backed portfolio companies with underperforming US revenue. On the delivery side, I serve as the client\'s primary point of accountability, orchestrating execution to ensure strategy, sales intelligence, and fractional sales execution operate as one integrated system. Core responsibilities: new business development, channel and PE partner relationships, client onboarding and engagement management, partner coordination, and continuous refinement of the GTM Engine based on live sales feedback.
