Initiated real-time data ingestion project. Led a team to build front-end libraries, backend services and analytical tools to help users easily log and analyze data. This system is actively used by all Square services and products. Brought data-driven culture to lots of teams- A/B Testing. Initiated A/B testing project. Led a team to build A/B testing infra, including experiments management, data pipelines, statistical and visualization tools. This system is actively used by all Square services and products. Growth Optimization Manage an engineering team (grew the team from just me to 6 people) to optimize the whole user life cycle experience, including user acquisition, referral, signup, onboading, engagement and churn. We are a full-stack team: frontend, backend, mobile, data, analytics, machine learning. We have increased top-line metric by hundreds of millions of dollars. Machine Learning Developed new machine learning library and models in Java. This new model has improved the fraud prediction accuracy by several %, has increased the prediction speed by >5 times, and has reduced the model size (memory footprint) by >10 times. This library is also used by other products within Square. Significantly improved overall risk systems architecture. Won Engineering Award (<5 engineers every half year).
