Manage operational functions and maintain regular communication with Crown Agents’ U.S. government clients domestically and in the U.S. overseas missions. Create operations, financial, procurement, human resources, and grants management process workflows from initiation, through review and approval. Provide training and mentoring to staff on U.S. government (USG) compliance and develop, introduce and integrate workflows as a tool to help manage workload across offices and staff, increase transparency, and drive a culture of accountability. Review, update, and create field operations policies and procedures (procurement, finance, HR/admin, ICT, and property/inventory) that are compliant with corporate and client regulations and requirements. Lead and coordinate the development of Crown Agents USA’s annual corporate budget. Accountable for project budget management and timely submission of monthly financial report, reviewing back up for compliance with donor requirements and Crown Agents (CA) policies. Lead special initiatives to advance the adaptation and adoption of new information, communication, and other technologies, systems, and processes which increase operations and program implementation effectiveness, impact, and cost efficiency and support of the growth of CA’s portfolio and technical capacities. Conduct scoping missions and pre-positioning efforts to fragile countries and regions to design innovative approaches for the Crown Agents (CA) group’s top new business pursuits. Develop and maintain productive relationships with current and potential partner organizations, project field staff, clients, service providers, and vendors.
