ABOUT BLYTHE LOVINGER

I partner with employers across sectors to develop and implement legally compliant business solutions for all workplace challenges. Clients appreciate my ability to provide responsive, effective, and practical guidance for their specific organizational structure, culture, and business goals. With over 25 years of experience handling employment matters before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels, I defend employers and senior executives against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the New York Labor Law and the Family and Medical Leave Act. I also have extensive experience prosecuting and defending cases involving trade secrets, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, and related business tort claims.I advise clients on day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinary actions and terminations; employment, consulting and separation agreements; employment policies and practices; reductions-in-force; wage and hour auditing; investigations of alleged harassment and other employee misconduct; and litigation avoidance. I conduct internal workplace investigations and advises management with respect to findings and recommendations. I also conduct in-person and virtual anti-harassment training, implicit bias and diversity training, and other specialized training programs for clients. I am a prominent supporter of women’s initiatives in the legal profession, serving as a former President of the New York Chapter of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law and on the Steering Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel - NYC Women\'s Group.Honors: Chambers USA; Labor and Employment New York (2025); Best Lawyers in America (2018 to 2026) and New York Super Lawyers (2018 to 2025).
