About Alli Hotaling

Alli Hotaling (Lebowitz) has over a decade of experience in the acute healthcare setting working with individuals & families. Her career began in pediatric medical care where she served as a social worker for children with chronic and complex needs. For 9 years, Alli worked in a busy pediatric emergency department where she became highly skilled in mental health crisis assessment/treatment, trauma care, brief and solution focused therapy, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. She grew into the role of emergency department supervisor & successfully built and led a team of social workers - managing responsibilities such as scheduling, performance evaluations, clinical reviews and community outreach. Alli has supervised BSW, MSW and LCSW social work clinicians since 2014 and worked as an adjunct professor for Florida International University supporting students completing their social work internship requirements. She has also served as a supervisor for nurse practitioner students focusing in psychiatry. Alli currently operates a thriving full-time private practice, Blooming Orchid Therapy, offering virtual therapy services to adults in Florida & New York. She specializes in working with individuals facing mood disorders such as generalized anxiety, as well as with relationship issues and stress management. Alli is a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist and takes an integrative approach to therapy. She believes that blending mindfulness training & healthy lifestyle habits with evidence-based practice fosters greater outcomes & creates a higher sense of well-being.
