In a quest to constantly improve team and contract performance I implemented Agile practices which resulted in expedited delivery times with fewer defects which led to customer satisfaction. I worked to implement these Agile development practices to the entire contract to improve the efficiency of the contract overall.* Currently I am leading the organization through an analysis of obsolete applications to determine if they should be replatformend to a modern technology, integrated with other applications or if they can be retired. For the applications being replatformed I am leading the teams in designing and implementing cutting edge solutions using modern technologies.* After collaborating with the customer, using my technical and analytical skills I led the team through the re-platforming of our homegrown portal product to a commercial portal product, this let the team focus on delivering needed functionality rather than continually working on portal infrastructure. The next phase of this is upgrading to the latest version of the commercial product while migrating to the cloud.* Realizing our custom Calendar product was technologically obsolete I led the team through a re-architecture of the Calendar to a service-based application where the service is utilized by multiple clients maximizing the ROI for NASA.* Continually monitoring the usage of our products and gathering feedback from users, I analyze results and build road maps for existing and future products for the customers to keep them working as efficiently as possible.* Member of the Application Development Senior leadership group which is transforming and modernizing the Application Development organization as well as various other working groups at NASA.
