My early background was in service roles within the food and drink industry, moving to telecoms in 2011 where I worked in an internal sales team providing structured cabling support. In 2017 I briefly returned to the licensed trade before rejoining telecoms in 2018 after the birth of my first child, this time focusing on the FTTx and Altnet markets in an external account management and business development role. I’ve built strong relationships with ISPs, carriers, contractors and manufacturers in the telecoms sector. In March 2023, I transitioned internally to product management, overseeing the Test & Measurement and Site Equipment portfolios for brands like Viavi and Fluke. While being experienced in sales and account management, I do gravitate toward the technical aspects of the products or solutions I’m selling, allowing me to pinpoint features that would solve issues clients are having, this allows me to become a trusted advisor in addition toproviding transactional sales.
