Further information: • Works as a strategic business partner with North American Management Team in developing a workforce of 450+ employees to meet business goals. Aspects include team structure, succession planning, talent development plans, hiring plans, and performance management. • Leads North American HR function which includes five direct reports • Partners with global HR colleagues on core functions in HR such as compensation, benefits, recruiting, payroll, training & development, and compliance. May perform specific tasks in these core functions, as needed. • Facilitates effective employee relations and coaching processes to promote a positive work environment. • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR Team to develop solutions, programs and recommend needed policies or policy edits. • Acts as key user for North American HRIS (Workday, ADP, etc.). Recently was project manager for new learning management system implementation. • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. • Maintains needed knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Acts as a key liaison with the local community, the regional tire manufacturing industry, and HR networks
