With over 13 years in logistics, I’ve seen firsthand how our industry has evolved — and how fast technology is reshaping what’s possible. Today, as Marketplace Lead for Canada at Cargado, I’m helping brokers and carriers move beyond the traditional “load board” model and into a new era of collaboration, data, and intelligent capacity management. After spending most of my career in operations at one of Canada’s most respected trucking companies, I saw the same challenges repeat themselves — limited visibility, disconnected systems, and endless emails just to cover a lane. Technology has the power to fix that. That’s what drew me to Cargado. We’re not a bulletin board for freight — we’re a collaboration platform that connects brokers and carriers to manage coverage, benchmark pricing, and build real relationships across Canada, the U.S, and Mexico. Every post, bid, and coverage event helps our network get smarter. We’re turning raw market activity into live, carrier-driven intelligence that helps companies quote confidently, price competitively, and operate strategically — not reactively. My focus is to help Canadian brokers and carriers leverage this technology to grow their business, strengthen partnerships, and compete with foresight. Because in today’s market, success isn’t about chasing freight — it’s about building a smarter, more connected network where everyone wins faster.
