I’m the Co-Founder of Made for Sundays, which is a luxury candle brand. I mainly handle the business side of things, looking into retail and wholesale opportunities, keeping up with customers, and managing our finances so we can keep growing both locally and online. Starting this brand has taught me a lot about how people shop, what makes a product stand out, and how to run a small business in a way that actually works day to day. I’m always looking to connect with other business owners and learn from people who’ve been doing this longer than I have. I look forward to continuing to grow this business far into the future.

ABOUT BLAKE WENTZ
I\'m a Business Administration major with a focus in Financial Planning at Biola University, and I\'ve spent the past two years serving as a team captain of our baseball team. Being a leader of my team has taught me the importance of hard work and attention to detail, while being able to solve complex team dynamics.Since going to college, I\'ve been drawn to finance because I enjoy serving others and learning about how I can help myself as well as others gain financial freedom. My experiences in financial planning, insurance, and baseball have allowed me to be confident interacting with people of diverse backgrounds and age groups.Outside of athletics, academics, and my previous positions, I am the Co-Founder of a luxury candle company, Made For Sundays. Running a small business has taught me the importance of marketing, planning, and being organized to operate smoothly. I\'m committed to growing this company far into the future and learning more about how to manage a business both externally and internally.I\'m currently seeking roles specifically in corporate finance, FP & A, wealth management, financial planning, commercial banking, and general analyst positions. My long-term goal is to build a strong career in finance while at the same time growing my business in my spare time, reinvesting what I earn, and applying the things I learn at work to my business. My experiences at my internship, in baseball, and as a founder of a company showcase that I have a track record of commitment to excellence and hard work, and that I can manage my time effectively, making me excited for any financial opportunities that come my way this summer, as I will be entering the workforce post-graduation.
