ABOUT BLAKE RATLIFF

Check out ratliffgames.weebly.com for some examples of my games work, or visit connect.aveva.com to see what I\'m working on in my current role- I\'ve been playing and critiquing video games since I was old enough to hold a controller, so in high school, I decided I wanted to make my own games. Since then, I\'ve built dozens of prototypes as a hobbyist and freelancer, contributed to the launch of three games over three years as a Gameplay Programmer (and later Senior GP), and helped to propel hundreds of new voices into the games industry as a Professor and Subject Matter Expert. I recently initiated a career transition into front-end software and web development as an R&D Member of Technical Staff at AVEVA. My chief responsibility is UI/UX development for the CONNECT industrial intelligence platform, and I\'m thrilled to be doing this important work to keep industry-leading AVEVA partners running- Want to learn more about AVEVA or CONNECT? Want to chat about my work as a software developer or freelance game programmer? Want to work on a game project together on the side? Drop me a line, and let\'s investigate how we can help each other!
