   In my current role I oversee Public Safety, Guest Experience, and Parking and Transportation for multiple venues in Salt Lake City. In this position I am tasked with building a foundation of policies that act as an umbrella to all venues and then work with the various venues to identify key changes that are necessary for the operation in that space. Other areas of responsibility are as listed below: • Direct, manage, develop and communicate departmental procedures for all security and guest services, and parking and transportation staff. • Approve specifications for procurement of staffing, supplies, equipment, and services related to security and guest services. • Perform financial forecasting and budgeting for all expenditures. Manage projects and functions within confines of annual budget. • Update and maintain preventative maintenance on necessary equipment. • Responsible for maintenance of vendor/consultant contracts and relationships. • Manage and motivate a team of security and guest services employees. Work with staff to facilitate a teamwork approach combining expertise and manpower for the completion of projects. • Maintain safety standards for team members by developing and communicating procedures to conform to federal, state and insurance regulations. • Determine and maintain all state and federal licensing, permitting, and requirements. • Coordinate all Emergency Response Procedures and institute best practices relative to Public Safety. • Assist with planning and execution of all events held at Vivint Arena. • Carry out supervisory responsibilities for assigned staff in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing issues and solving problems and regularly communicating with staff.
