ABOUT BLAKE LUCAS
Blake completed a degree in Sound Engineering at University of Glamorgan,(now University of South Wales) and moved into Acoustic Consultancy straight from University. With 18 years experience of working within acoustic consultancy, with work in UK, Europe and Internationally. In 2013 Blake was involved in a management buy out of Acoustic Consultants Ltd with Daniel Oldaker. Since 2013 we have significantly grown the company from 3 members to 15. With a large portfolio of clients and projects and multiple geographic bases (Bristol, London, Manchester and Cardiff). Blake is a full Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA), an accredited ANC tester, an ANC examiner and regularly involved in ANC working groups to develop new processes for the industry. Blake has a key interest in noise, vibration and dust for construction activities and is the key contact at Acoustic Consultants Ltd on these projects. Significant acoustic projects Blake has been involved in include:Finzels Reach Phase 1 & 2 - planning, detailed design advice, completion testing and noise and vibration BS5228 surveys for this successful and ongoing mixed use scheme. SA1 Swansea redevelopment - planning advice for this large scale mixed use scheme. Lidl Head Office - planning, detailed design advice, for this office scheme for our valued client Lidl.Old Brewers Yard, London - planning and detailed design advice for the new Guinness destination centre. Opening in 2025/6Bath Rec - planning / ES chapter for the redevelopment of Bath Rugbys baseBattery/Solar storage - multiple sites across the UK
