ABOUT BLAKE KNOWLES
REGIONAL SALES LEADER | ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT | START-UPSSALES, MARKETING, AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES: Known for consistently driving revenue and market development where strategic vision, expertise in client relations, sales, and revenue growth are premium. Expertise in budgeting, negotiation, business strategy, team leadership, marketing, and client retention for start-ups.INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS: Establish/lead relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers on business and technical sides. Able to develop new business opportunities from existing accounts.TEAM LEADERSHIP: Translate business needs into technical product specifications, yielding products, services, and recommendations narrowly tailored to meet unique needs of each client across various product lines.EVOLUTION THROUGH COVID: Oilfield Supply Center, Inc.(an American start-up division of OSC Ltd based out of Dubai) hired me in late 2019. My initial role was Business Development Manager (BDM) for all 3 units. COVID hit shortly after I joined the company. Drilling activity downsized by half and most of our customer offices closed. By successfully tapping into existing customer relationships, we weathered the storm and reorganized in 2021 focusing on our drill bit and reamer business (Diamant). I transitioned into Western Hemisphere (WH) Vice President of Sales & Operations while remaining in BDM role for 3 units. Through the COVID years, my team and I added and developed 40 significant accounts to the OSC book of business.ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT: In late 2016, I created and built a water damage restoration business (Restoration 1) to flex my entrepreneurial muscles. I was hands-on in every aspect of this start-up. The lessons learned were incredibly valuable and gave me confidence to conquer viable business growth and sustainability with a handsome profit margin. FORTUNE 500 SUCCESS: From to 2016, I was fortune enough to work within the Schlumberger family of companies, where I seamlessly matriculating from one division to another. Initially hired in as Field Sales Representative (Smith Bits), I earned a 2005 promotion to Technical Sales Specialist (Neyrfor Turbines), and then North America Sales and Operations Manager in 2007. I moved up to Senior Account Representative (Schlumberger Drilling and Measurements) in 2012, leading directional drilling territory sales from $10MM to $40MM in two years with a diverse roster of 20+ high-profile clients. This experience provided great O&G insight and has helped me move forward with ease and success.
