About Blake Stephens
I build healthcare products at the intersection of data architecture, clinical reality, and business outcomes.I started as a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy, clinical educator, and later VP for a multi-disciplinary practice where I saw firsthand how documentation burden, reimbursement pressure, and fragmented data choke clinical excellence. That experience led me into health tech.Today as a Principal Product Manager, I focus on platform-level problems: unifying data, reducing interoperability friction, and enabling predictive and AI-native workflows that actually serve patients and providers. My north star is simple: less administrative drag, more clinical impact, and maximum reimbursement.I believe providers deserve tools that amplify their craft, not automate their humanity out of the room.
Experience
Principal Product Manager
Feb 2025 — Present · Phoenix, AZ, US
In February I stepped into a Principal Product Manager role focused on the highest-leverage, cross-platform initiatives across WebPT’s product ecosystem. This shift moved me from managing teams to owning the outcomes that sit between teams: the unresolved seams. I’ve been driving:• predictive customer health + early signal intervention models• mitigation plans for our largest platform and data risks• foundational patterns that unify how we build products across the suiteThis “tiger team” charter has sharpened my execution discipline, raised the altitude of my cross-functional alignment, and required shipping with a near-zero miss tolerance.Healthcare is entering a new era where the moat isn’t “more features,” it’s data architecture and intelligent orchestration. My aim is to keep shaping the foundation that makes precision insights, automation, and AI-native experiences possible responsibly, ethically, and at scale.I’m grateful for the leaders who trusted me to operate at this altitude, and for the teams who partner with me to deliver impact fast and without drama.
