ABOUT BLAIR WOODWARD

I am passionate about creativity and problem solving. Having a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah, I searched for a field of work where I could use that creativity and art background to propel myself toward a career I\'m passionate about. I was lucky enough to find web development, which has allowed me to fulfill both my desire to create and problem solve. I love working with people on a team, as well as working on my own to meet my goals. I\'m adaptable and am able to thrive in both settings. This adaptability has helped me to deliver excellent customer service over the years, which has, in turn, enabled me to make meaningful connections and find fulfillment in the workplace. I specialize in creating front-end applications using technologies including ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Sass, ES6 and Redux, but am familiar with NodeJS, PostgreSQL, RESTful API’s, Go, AWS, Azure, Couchbase, and Bamboo as well. As a student at DevMountain, I developed and collaborated in developing several full-stack applications from front to back. You can view a walkthrough of those projects in my portfolio at https://blairwo.wixsite.com/mysite/work, as well as the repos on my GitHub at As a full-stack software engineer for InsideSales.com, I worked on integrating gamification on our flagship products to optimize engagement and make sales exciting & competitive. I was a key player in developing our dashboards, leaderboards, “PowerHour” timed challenges and celebration animations, custom KPI creation interface, custom user celebration anthems, tickers, widgets and components within our Chrome extension. These were developed to showcase teams\' live performances on a set of KPIs to incentivized selling and for our customers to get more out of their sales teams.
