Founded in 2023, Beausoleil Real Estate Investments is a real estate investment management and advisory firm specializing in portfolio and fund management. Over the past 20 years the founding partners of Beausoleil, Peter Cuthbert and Blair McCreadie, have developed two major real estate investment management businesses that have raised and deployed more than $9 billion into a full range of Canadian real estate sectors, regions, and strategies in both open ended and closed ended formats. They have managed bespoke Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), worked out distressed portfolios and have presided over three of the most successful open-ended funds in the Canadian MSCI Property Fund Index (PFI). These funds have routinely maintained their position in the top quartile of fund performance and frequently have led the Index in performance.This partnership is unique in that Blair and Peter have been the architects of the investment practice, the portfolio and asset management platforms, the innovative risk management systems and the strong positive culture that sustained leading performance for their investors. They have built the platforms from the ground up taking an active seat in the capital raise, investment management, asset management, risk management, compliance, ESG and general business management of two major Canadian investment management platforms. The genesis of their fund management careers put them at the forefront of the evolution of the open-ended fund business in Canada.They have now partnered to create Beausoleil and are combining their experience and deep industry connectivity on behalf of their growing client base.
