About Blair Henry
Being born in Wilmington, Delaware, raised fifteen minutes from the coast in Charleston, South Carolina, and now living in Orange, California, I have spent my life being exposed to different types of people, places, and environments. Throughout my experiences I have grown a deep appreciation and respect for the world around me and the people that live in it. Through my desire to understand these different people and places, I have developed a passion for sharing the unique and unsung stories that I see around me. I am now working as a documentarian and journalist in order to reach my goal of making these stories heard. I have experience in both pre and post production, writing, interviewing, video, editing, and audio. I recently completed a semester-long internship at the Kennedy/Marshall Company, a film production company, within their documentary department. Here I helped assist the pre-production processes on potential films, as well as the post-production processes on future films, such as the upcoming National Geographic documentary \"Space Race.\"Through my life experiences and having worked with subjects ranging from cowboys to environmental activists and documentarians to, most recently, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Nadia Murad, I am interested in telling a wide array of stories spanning from topics of environmental concerns to topics of human interest and justice. I am currently based out of Orange, California and Charleston, South Carolina.
