I am a sophomore student at Yale College pursuing a Biomedical Engineering degree and Economics degree. My academic and professional focus is on using biotechnology to address critical health challenges facing minority communities, such as the ongoing Black maternal health crisis in the United States, and advancing accessible, translational medical devices.Currently, I am enrolled in courses in Biology, Multivariable Calculus, and Economics, which are providing me with a solid foundation to apply my real-world experiences to the rapidly evolving biotechnological field. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions that can make a lasting impact, particularly in improving healthcare accessibility and outcomes for underserved populations.Outside of the classroom, I am a member of Yale women\'s rugby team.
