ABOUT BLAINE HOWARD

Hey, I\'m Blaine and I love talking about all things Employee Health and Well-being. I never thought I\'d be saying that 10 years ago! Strangely, I fell into my passion 8 years ago - and it was a stroke of absolute luck! In fact, my passion for Employee Wellness started in 2014, ironically, in a pub in Derby, UK. An MBA Masters Graduate from the University of Derby, I was looking to start a career in a totally different sector, when I received a phone-call from a recruiter. Long story, very short, our meeting went well, I interviewed, accepted the job, and almost 10 years later I can proudly confess! Since then, I worked at three of the largest Occupational Health & Well-being companies in the UK, working with Global, National and SMEs to tailor well-being packages to their employees. In 2022, I joined - Why? I loved their passion and vision for employee well-being - and I wanted to support their mission of helping employees boost their performance, prevent burnout, and manage stress. In today\'s world, it is so important that we all do our bit to nudge employees to healthier behaviours. That is why for Employee Health & Well-being. So, whether you have an established Wellness Programme, or are just setting out on your journey, I\'d love to chat. I\'m a North American sports fanatic - I love Ice Hockey and American Football (I\'ve even got my own Jersey collection). But I watch all sports including football, tennis, golf, mixed martial arts and anything else on ESPN or Sky, before my lovely fiancée takes the remote off me! I love extreme weather events and I am self-taught in meteorology to a reasonable standard. I\'d love to visit \'Tornado Alley\' in storm season to track and chase tornadoes. Having watched far too much Star Wars as a child, I have a massive passion for Space and Time, too. I love all things Space related and enjoy listening to Brian Cox webinars!(I mean, who doesn\'t?)
