About Brad Kutrow

As a partner in McGuireWoods\' Financial Services Litigation Department and co-chair of our Appeals and Issues practice, I lead teams that handle all kinds of complex litigation. I’ve defended class actions in pretrial motions, at trial, and on appeal. I’ve also arbitrated before JAMS, and FINRA panels. As a former reporter, I work to win cases with investigation, research, insight, and persistence. I can also assess and reduce reputational risk. I’m ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA, and The Best Lawyers in America includes me in seven categories: Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Banking and Finance, Securities, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and First Amendment. On the appellate front, I was founding chair of the NC Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section and also chaired its Appellate Rules Committee, which serves as a liaison between the bench and bar.
