Digital Community Manager @Sierra Club

Create and execute the overall Sierra Club’s online community engagement strategy with a strong focus on social media as well as work with individual campaigns’ digital staff to strategize and assist in executing their tactics accordingly. Duties include: • Animating Sierra Club’s online grassroots movement • Driving a sense of belonging for individuals in a massive group • Identifying opportunities to enhance supporters’ user experience on owned digital products/channels and drive conversion goals • Creating FAQs and other orientation materials (web pages, video tutorials) to help new users engage in the community • Leveraging social media to maximize crossover between social media properties and Sierra Club’s online platform(s) • Growing Sierra Club social media presence, and optimizing engagement on external social media platforms • Managing the social media content calendar • Coordinating with staff on requested social and community promotion both on strategy and implementation level • Brainstorming and working with the creative team on original content • Providing customer service on social media and Sierra Club related community sites/emails • Providing rapid response to breaking news
