My career has taken me across large institutions (ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, DHFL, IIFL, Utkarsh SFB) and entrepreneurial ventures, as well as international exposure in East Africa & South Africa. This has given me a 360° perspective on building, scaling, and transforming lending businesses.At different stages, I have:Built businesses from scratch – from setting up Tanzania’s first Housing Finance Company (a JV with HDFC, IFC & Bank M) to co-founding Arkfin and delivering a 5x ROI to investors in Star Housing Finance.Turned around and scaled portfolios: grew IIFL’s housing finance portfolio by 55% in a single year to ₹4453 Cr while reducing ticket sizes for better risk diversification; at DHFL, doubled monthly disbursals while bringing down NPAs from 3.4% to 0.94%.Delivered consistent profitability: drove sustainable growth with industry-leading cost-to-income ratios, enhanced fee income through cross-sell, and pioneered new products such as small-ticket affordable housing loans.Led transformation and governance – from risk containment and regulatory compliance to digital enablement, restructuring, and process excellence.What sets me apart is not only my ability to drive numbers, but also to shape organizations and teams for long-term success.
