Designed and iterated system prototypes and production-intent designs for critical vehicle subsystems, including powertrain actuators and battery management systems, using SolidWorks and Creo. Produced manufacturing-ready CAD models, GD & T drawings, and BOMs to support scale-up and supplier quotes. Built assemblies with machine shop and lab technicians, developed custom test fixtures, executed verification protocols, and captured results in formal test reports and bound laboratory notebooks. Authored design verification & validation (DVP & R) plans, work instructions, and assembly procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and automotive safety standards, providing full traceability through product development and production part approval (PPAP). Performed failure and root-cause analysis by FMEA, Weibull analysis, and statistical process control (Minitab/JMP) and implemented corrective design changes and validated effectiveness through re-test, reducing failure modes in prototype runs.
